废气主要受到一种特殊的高能高臭氧紫外辐射束的照射,工业废气的分子链结构被裂解,使得有机或无机高分子恶臭化合物的分子链在高能紫外辐射束的照射下被降解转化为CO2和H2O等低分子化合物。
空气中的氧分子和水分子被高能和高臭氧的紫外线束分解,产生自由氧(活性氧)和羟基自由基,由于自由氧和正负电子,之间的不平衡,它们需要与氧分子结合,然后产生臭氧。
此外,添加了特殊的催化剂:根据不同的废气组分制备了27种以上相应的惰性催化剂,催化剂采用蜂窝状金属网孔作为载体,与光源全方位接触,惰性催化剂在338纳米的光源下发生催化反应,使光源的效果放大10-30倍。使其与废气,充分反应,缩短废气和光源之间的接触时间,并提高废气的净化效率
